For OWHA Tournaments and Events, teams MUST register in the division/level which they are registered as with the OWHA. Failure to do so will result in your team being removed from the tournament at the teams expense (as per the Tournament Withdrawal/Removal Policy.

If your team wishes to play up a division/level, you MUST register in the division/level you are registered in with the OWHA and then send an email to gina@ggts.ca requesting to play up. As per the OWHA handbook, tournament hosts must first accept teams in their advertised OWHA category prior to accepting teams from a lower category.

2027 Clarington Flames Flamesfest Tournament

Owha Sanction No. 2627029
Start Date: Thursday January 14th 2027
End Date: Sunday January 17th 2027
Additional Information

Registration for the 2027 Clarington Flames Flamesfest Tournament will open on October 15, 2026; however, no registrations will be processed until October 19 due to the Clarington Applefest Tournament occurring that weekend.

Payment options available are credit card and e-transfer.  Teams who chose to pay via credit card are reminded that a non-refundable online merchant fee applies.  If a division is cancelled and a team has paid via credit card, the non-refundable online merchant fee still applies.

For those making payment via credit card, the team will be ‘accepted’ in the system and a system-generated email is sent.  A personal email from me (Gina) will be sent explaining your registration has been received.  Once the credit card is confirmed by HTG Sports, a second email from me will be sent which will include the accommodations link.  Unfortunately there were some teams who paid via credit card in other events this season and their card was declined yet they already secured accommodations at local hotels.  This is unfair to other teams.

Teams who pay via e-transfer will receive the accommodations link within their CONFIRMED email.

Teams are reminded that they can only secure rooms for their own team.  You are not able to secure rooms for multiple teams.  The person securing the block of rooms for your team should be the same person who registered the team.
