Who’s Managing Your Next Tournament?

GGTS is well known and respected in Ontario girls hockey circles. GGTS brings extensive knowledge and experience in the planning and operation of hockey tournaments. GGTS provides fiscally responsible services to ensure a successful event.

The GGTS team possesses strong organizational, critical-thinking and communication skills. The team is energetic and enthusiastic – strong representatives for your Association bringing professionalism, hockey knowledge and demonstrating passion for the game on and off the ice.

Services that are provided:

• Work directly with Tournament Director or appointed director if otherwise stipulated
• Coordinate registration of teams through a third party
• Forecasting ice requirements and efficiently scheduling such ice to the fullest benefit of the Association
• Create tournament schedule from ice allotments provided
• Prepare tournament information flyers for distribution to a large database of teams via email to effectively promote your event
• Prepare, with consultation from the Association contact, Tournament Rules
• On site management of all game related aspects of your Tournament
• Provide timely online results throughout your event
• Provide onsite arena convenors

Association Responsibilities:

• Acquisition and payment of Tournament Sanction
• Acquire ice contracts and provide up-to-date copies to GGTS for effective scheduling
• Hotel provider
• Supervision of Association volunteers
• Vendors and Fundraising
• Presentation of Medallions & Banners
• Medallions, Banners and Player of Game (POG) Awards. GGTS may assist with contacts for best pricing and product options.
